Dr. Sanka Bruce was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Thompson Rivers University before earning her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently completing her Family Medicine residency at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver.
Dr. Bruce has a strong interest in comprehensive, patient-centred care, with particular passions for women’s health, preventive medicine, and serving rural communities. She enjoys working alongside patients to support their long-term health and help them make informed decisions about their care.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, golfing, skiing, gardening, and spending time exploring the great outdoors.
