Dr. Stephen Kurdyak opened his practice in Kitsilano in 1996. He attended medical school at Queens’ University and completed his residency in Family Practice at UBC. Dr. Kurdyak is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Practice at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Dr. Kurdyak enjoys clinical teaching and was named the BC Teacher of the Year in 2011 by the BC College of Family Physicians. He has served as the Site Faculty for Evaluation for the Saint Paul’s Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. Dr. Kurdyak has 3 grown children. In his free time, he enjoys hockey, skiing and gardening.
